The Leveling Lift Kit does not alter the subjective feel of suspension performance. It does not change the characteristics of the shock absorbers and springs, but by increasing the suspension travel relative to the bump stop distance, it significantly enhances comfort and speed while off-roading. If you wish to stiffen the suspension, you should replace the springs and leaf springs with lifting ones, appropriately matched to the actual additional load.
NOTE! The height of the spacer and the achieved lift ARE NOT a 1:1 ratio — meaning the achieved lift height is significantly greater than the actual thickness of the spacer. This is due to the lower control arm increasing the load-bearing force due to its angle and length.
